There are over 10,500 trees on campus.

The trees of the ANU campus have high aesthetic and ecological value and are held in high regard by students, staff and the general public.

Facilities and Services have developed a Management Plan for Trees of the Australian National University Campus to manage the trees from both a conservation and a public risk perspective. The primary aim of the tree management plan is to maintain our trees in a healthy, safe condition and to protect and retain them as a dominant feature of the ANU campus.
