Construction and Renovation


The Facilities and Services Division is responsible for infrastructure projects at all ANU campuses. Projects are managed by their level of complexity according to the following categories:

  • Major capital projects, primarily involve the construction of new buildings and infrastructure upgrades. These projects are coordinated by FS Project Coordinators.
  • The Project Management Framework provides information on the planning and management arrangements for major capital projects.

  • Small Works projects primarily involve refurbishments and renovations. These projects are managed by the Small Works and Conversions team within the Facilities Operations section.

Small Works projects are carried out in accordance with the ANU Procurement Policy and the Building Alterations policy and procedure at: http://policies.anu.edu.au/procedures/alterations_in_or_about_university_buildings/procedure
